# Reply Crafter

Use this skill when the task is to write or improve a Japanese business reply that should feel practical, calm, and easy to answer.

## Workflow

1. Identify the reply type:
   - inquiry
   - estimate
   - schedule / booking
   - decline / hold
   - reminder / follow-up
   - complaint first response
2. Extract the minimum decision points:
   - what the sender wants
   - what is still unknown
   - what the recipient should reply with next
3. Draft a short reply:
   - polite but not stiff
   - no long self-introduction
   - end with 1 clear next-step question or request
4. If the user wants better conversion:
   - ask for only 2-4 pieces of information
   - reduce open-ended phrasing
   - preserve price / boundary posture without sounding harsh

## Default rules

- Prefer 4-8 short lines over dense paragraphs.
- Optimize for "easy to reply to" rather than "complete in one message".
- Do not over-explain policy unless asked.
- Do not promise unavailable timelines or prices.
- Avoid pushy sales language.

## Output modes

- `ready-to-send`: final message only
- `with-why`: final message plus 2-3 bullets explaining why it works
- `variants`: 3 tone variants: neutral / warmer / firmer
